1. High Performance Video Special Effects
The Rexfx adapter is a high performance, modular effects engine
which provides high quality 3D
transitions and effects at a fraction of the rendering time of software-only
DVE rendering products.
Rexfx also provides the video editor with a near-real-time alternative
to more expensive real-time DVEs.
Rexfx ships with the Standard Effects Pack, additional
Packs can be downloaded from the Canopus
Web site as they become available.

2. High Performance Canopus Software Codecs
The Rexfx package
comes with 2 high performance software codecs: DV and MJPEG. These software
codecs allow you to install
Rexfx as a remote editing adapter which can read files generated
by other
hardware video capture devices.
This is a useful feature in a network environment where you want
many people working on the
same footage but you do not want to buy multiple hardware codec products.
